  • The hidden gem on tap is the potent Thistly Cross Original

  • Unlike its Traditional counterpart hits you with apple juice sweetness and 7.2% ABV

  • I'd fancy that there are few pubs to match it on the west side of town

  • One time there was a pub quiz happening at the back of the restaurant

  • Another time there was a football match on the screens and I also popped in during the day for a coffee when it was quite quiet
