The Captains Bar (Old Town)

• A grotty looking bar on the inside is rarely the opposite inside
• This is the case with The Captains Bar
• Because inside is probably as clean as a ship which has been at sea for the best part of a year
• The confined space means that seating is extremely limited
• Even more so when a motley crew of musicians who are deeply involved in performing a sea shanty until their fingers fall off
• The range of beer is not of the highest level
• Neither too is their quality of beer line with the lines needing a serious cleaning
• Either indicates a dodgy keg or that the lines are cleaned infrequently
