Sygn (West End)

• It has West End cocktail prices but I love the extensive menu of a huge variety of interesting cocktails some were quite ordinary but others were really delicious
• The mocktails were definitely overpriced
• The next time I was back I opted for the steak and cheese burger
• Including their great window decorations with bottles and their ornate ceiling
• Having not been to Sygn before I was expecting good things seeing as it was next to Indigo Yard
• As you can imagine I shortly found an excuse to check it out and it was as good as I hoped
• Having gone on a busy Friday night the place was full but our table was booked and the staff were friendly and efficient in getting us seated and served
• We both had burgers because that was clearly what Sygn were known for and neither of us was disappointed
• The servings were great and really tasty
• We also sampled the cocktails which were refreshing
• Table service is always a winner for me
• Only thing that irritates me slightly is the volume of the music
• Had forgotten how good the burgers actually are in Sygn until I had a swift reminder last night
• Sam even said they were the best wings he's eaten in Edinburgh
• I'm glad I chose this as it was filling but not too heavy so I could enjoy the cheese fries more
• Sygn offers a very enjoyable dinner but I think it would offer an even better night out with a group because they have a great selection of cocktails
• The menu is filled with American style food burgers
• The Nachos have to be one of the best in Edinburgh
• Served hot and the portion is large (ideal for two)
• This wee spot was super busy and very loud (not helped by the very very loud music)
• That burger was one of the best ones I've ever had
• The prosecco was really good too
