Browns Bar & Brasserie (City Centre)

• We ate at Browns and shared the belly busting mixed starter which included asparagus with the most overwhelmingly buttery sauce
• I had a big hearty steak pie with a flaky pastry crust with a mulled wine topped with cinnamon sugar on the side
• My mum had lamb chops with a little mini shepherds pie to go with it which was a bit of a meat overload
• The rhubarb ice cream got me really excited but it fell massively short of the mark and was far too sweet and totally missed the sharpness of rhubarb
• The shepherds pie was really tasty
• Hollandaise sauce) and it was also sooo good
• The restaurant interior is beautifully detailed
• The service was top notch and the food didn't take long before arriving
