China Tang at The Dorchester (Mayfair)

• The food was excellent as was the service and venue
• The main course came out as we had barely finished our starter and the main course was taken away as they asked if we wanted desert
• The Schumann Prawns are the best I have ever tasted
• One could easily forget that they are in Mayfair
• The sommelier is ever ready to assist you
• My favourite is the Achaval Ferrer
• T want to have an entire three course meal with the Peking duck
• The sea bass is a must try
• Accompanied with the Pak Choi
• China Tang is brilliant place to go for a great meal and overall a great night out
• Cor just proves that you are dining at one of London&rsquo
• I must say the best dish by far has to be the Peking Duck
• The China Tang bar is the place for you to be
• You walk down a staircase with Chinese flower covered walls
• Very classy decor in both the bar and restaurant to prepare you for the rich meal you are going to have
• Some menu standouts were the Sauteed Chicken with Cashew Nuts and the Peking Duck
• The chicken goes very well with egg fried rice
• The duck it was so juicy and served sliced rather than shredded
• The atmosphere in the Restaurant is more than classy
• As a main meal would say Chicken in Lemon Sauce or the Goldern Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk
• I think the prices are too high for what you get
• Not impressed with the value here
• I think there are too many great asian places in London
• The beef pepper dish melted in my mouth and the shrimp was crispy and full of flavor
• The deserts were also incredible
• The staff is extremely accommodating and the crowd is a mix of families and friends
• The place looks quite low key but the food is still five stars
• The kind genuine staff propel this cosy feeling and are another factor why I would encourage everyone to go experience this restaurant

• Beautiful decoration you really have a lot of privacy in this restaurant it's always busy and buzzy the food is Chinese at its best and the service is excellent
• China Tang at The Dorchester (Mayfair) is old yet so good the food the ambience and there service make me come here again
• The fun part is they do not close after the normal lunch time in london like other fine dining restaurants
• Given that it was at the Dorchester and I wanted to try somewhere new for my birthday we went but neither my family nor myself were impressed
• The dessert platter however was fantastic and if I were to go back it would be for dessert

• For 20 quid this was fantastic value
• 3 courses for lunch plus a choice of one of three cocktails meant it was an excellent deal
• A little like the bank in Harry Potter with doorways leading off to other excellent restaurants instead of wizard gold
• The bar itself is pretty beautiful
• I actually commented that i forgotten what it was like to bite into a bit of beef like this expecting it to be tough but instead it was lovely and tender

• This is literally the best chinese in London
• We had a private dining room and it was just lovely
• We then had the duck which they carve for you and it is a work of art

• The standout between the 3 dishes was to my surprised the Har Gau (Shrimp Dumpling)
• The seasoning of the dish was very delicate
• The Char Siu pork bun was exactly how I expected them to taste
• I just wish it was bigger so I had more of it to eat

• The dim sums are good and try the beans
• Chilly with soya is super spicy be careful
• The ambience is nice and we'll decorated it is the Dorchester
• Restaurant is quite busy all through the year
• The bar in the restaurant is quite rocking as well

• I especially liked the Lamb with Leeks it's my must try recommendation (as it's not spicy at all
• Enjoy everything is good on the menu
• The sweet and sour grouper fillet was the best I have ever had
• The egg noodles were amazing and soft
• The Jellyfish was fresh and tangy (reminded me of kimchi)
• The lobster was fresh as well
• Need to book in advance as they are quite busy

• 2018 and this was a wonderful welcome to New Year
• The most mouthwatering dinner was what I had last night at China Tang
• Service and ambience was fantastic too
• The waiters are so friendly and helpful
• The food is great and so is the service
• The live music is the finishing touch creating the perfect ambiance
