If at Leicester (which is pretty much everytime) chiquito becomes an obvious choice as it's among the few 'restaurants cum bar' which are open till late but is highly over priced
-
Ambience Chiquito is always busy
-
Drinks Selection are fairly huge but I have never tried it and they are said to be the good part about chiquito
-
If you have a taste for Mexican food then this restaurant is worth a try
-
It has tried to incorporate the mexican flavour with a British/American twang
-
It was one of the best ones I had had in a long time
-
This is the place to get a good fast meal with great service
-
Get there for happy hours and pitchers are for just £
-
On a good sunny day you could grab seats outside with great views
-
The service was great and the waiting times were average
-
This is an ideal place if you are in the area and would like a long lunch
-
Was very disappointed with the taste of the food
-
The food here is extremely tasty and affordable
-
Great place to have a few drinks too with happy hour and pitchers that are just £
-
Great music that cheers the environment and to all a good start to a nice evening board Desperados typical beer with tequila and a plate of nachos with chicken and guacamole to share
-
I remember wandering on the streets at leicester Square with a couple of my friends
-
It was a weekday and it was not crowded at all
-
I ordered the Regular Burger which was not great but nice
-
There are a few Chiquito's around and I wouldn't say that this is the best one I've visited
-
The steak fajitas are better than the chicken
-
Right next to odeon theatre this mexican restaurant is a must go for everyone who like mexican food
-
Some of the best mexican dishes ever had
-
Free popcorn with your order
-
Have tried all on my various visits all are lovely and suited for Indian palette
-
Tried virgin mojito as well which is nice but with so much ice and mint the quantity is very less
-
A veg meal with mocktails can cost gbp 35
-
Would have given 5 stars but food arrives very slow but staff is nice though has to be called each time of you want something
-
Chiquito made me fall in love with Mexican food
-
We started off with the free spicy popcorn
-
Spicy chicken Quesadilla was really tasty
-
As we entered we noticed that the inner ambiance is totally different from what's portrayed outside
-
Beautiful lively atmosphere with great music playing
-
Their Churros are mouth watering
-
Only downfall is the wait as it's so busy down there but definitely worthwhile
-
I enjoyed alot out there as we went there for a holiday and it was my parents' anniversary so had a really good time out there
-
Cool staff drinks were very good and different from the norm
-
Intimate booth and were checked up on relatively frequently
-
Most of which are microwavable
-
The major downsides were the restaurant trying to take on too many customers
-
The service was really Nice
-
The waiter was portuguese
-
So he made sure everything was Going pretty fine
-
Chiquito (Covent Garden) made me fall in love with the Mexican food
-
The service was up to the mark and the food was on our table with in 10 mins
-
I am a huge fan of Mexican food but often feel that it is hard finding really exceptional Mexican food in Europe
-
The wings are pretty good and the Chiquito Guacamole is really fantastic (they allow you to mix your own by choosing a few things like tomato and jalapeñ
-
) And there is plenty of amazing mains to choose from as well
-
The Mango Cod is really flavoursome
-
The Churros are always a safe bet
-
The next favorite cuisine after Indian dishes which i relish the most is the Mexican cuisine
-
It is situated at one of the best locations of London
-
On our arrival we were handed with a buzzer and was asked to wait for minimum 20 minutes
-
Very lively place but the music is too loud with that noisy crowd
-
Baked veges with cranberry jam and mint salsa the best i had
-
Burritos very well wrapped with exact proportion of beans
-
The portions were big and satisfactory
-
Starters I had the South Western meatballs which came with tortilla chips
-
The meatballs were delicious and really got the meal off to a good start
-
My mains I ordered the Beef chilli burger which was spicy and taste great
-
Dessert I went for the Strawberry deep filled cheesecake with vanilla ice cream which was yum
-
The service was very helpful and the price with the 25% discount was only £
-
With a big and bold interior that was pleasing on the eye
-
The dishes were well balanced and some of the spices would act as a great introduction to someone who has yet to experience the wonders of Mexican cuisine
-
This positive was nullified by the cheap tactic of keeping you waiting by the bar downstairs for long periods of time
-
The experience was very Mexican
-
Well suited for large groups and there is a bar on ground level as well as outdoor seating
-
The portions were sumptuous as well
-
Budget ~35 for 2 people is more than enough
-
I visited Chiquito (Covent Garden) on a recommendation with a group of 15 friends
-
I ordered the Baked Spicy Chicken Enchiladas and I am happy to report that they were really good
-
Chiquito (Covent Garden) is pretty pricey if I'm honest
-
The service was efficient and cheerful
-
The ambience was very typical Latino/Mexican
-
Ordered chicken and chorizo skewers from their sizzlers menu and what i got served was overcooked chicken with no resemblance whatsoever with a sizzler
-
Turned up on late on a Saturday evening expecting a quiet restaurant but was pleasantly surprised to see it about two thirds full
-
I normally find that for a chain restaurant Chiquito is at the higher end of the cost scale and therefore at the lower end of the value for money scale
-
That being said on this occasion I went for my normal starter of Barbecue Wings which are generous in portion size and also delicious
-
I have to say I thought it was delicious and a good sized portion
-
The grilled chicken with veggies and chips were quite remarkable
-
This is a real shame but it is also a fact
-
The food is western Mexican done in a terribly mediocre way with slow service in a packed and cramped setting
-
Spicy chicken is highly recommended
-
The chain used to be one of the best Mexican chains some 10 yrs ago
-
Currently some of the Chiquitos restaurants are closed including the one that i used to visit back then near Brent Cross
-
The place at Leicester Square is done up decently
-
How ever food was absolutely rubbish this time around
-
2.5 rating is for old times sake
-
Visited the place once with a couple of friends
-
In fact it was a bit disappointing to be honest
-
Being here twice I like their food which is simply good but the service needs to be improved which was quite slow twice the time I had been here before
-
My favourite pick in their menu is Quesadilla with pulled pork stuffing which is quite filling for a meal
-
Mexican near Piccadilly circus and Chiquito is the place to be
-
We went to Chiquito when we were in London on holidays
-
We had chicken fajita salad served with guacamole sauce
-
So the service was good and the waiting times were average
-
All tables outside were packed so we settled for a high table opp the bar (making it easier to get drinks)
-
We started with couple of round of Mojito with an interesting Spiced Ginger flavor
-
The plus of being in Leicester Sq is there are many tourist
-
So they striking a conversation or chatting up in general is inevitable
-
In the end it was a good night
-
Burgers were decent (or we were too drunk to notice)
-
We paid damage of approx 200 quid (tad bit expensive) but no complaints as the cocktails were just perfect
-
Hard to miss this Mexican restaurant attracts many tourist and people who are out on the weekends
-
Food which is the main thing did not impress me massively
-
All it could drip was jalapeno jelly like thing on my cold chips
-
The Burger had a juicy beef patty which came with a small side of purple cabbage coleslaw
-
12 with an insignificant filling of which I would call mince chicken and frugal sprinkle of cheese was the most shallowest taco I've seen
-
Three barren taco shells with a kids portion of salad and a side of salsa sauce was not worth at all
-
7 the starter was not visually or economically justified
-
The description says tiger prawns which are generally lot bigger
-
Cherry tomatoes were bigger than the prawns in the sauce
-
It was a tiny slice of cake with a garnish strawberry cut into three
-
The entire meal for two was for £
-
Last night they had the launch preview of their new menu along with new tequila based cocktails
-
Each dish was paired with a separate tequila based drink including a chilli chocolate tequila to dip our churros in
-
T have a very sweet tooth as you all know but this dessert was definitely one I would have again
-
I honestly expected better since most of the nachos got all soggy and moist due to the big amount of sauces (mind you that they were still tasty) and the burger&rsquo
-
S meat was very dull and nothing was special about it
-
One of the best place to have Mexican food
-
My favorite dish here is chicken Fajita
-
The menu offers so many different tempting options and the service is also pretty quick
-
The portion was absolutely huge and then the classic chicken fajitas which was as you would expect it to be
-
Found some cooking issues with some siders
-
Came with chicken and cheese with a range of sauces
-
Have an outside eating area which is great for a hot day (one of the very few in a typical English summer)
-
What attracted us was the music and the lively ambience of the place
-
We were 11 of us and was lucky enough to get the last empty table left
-
The food was absolutely amazing and the Sangria was just perfect
-
Me and my friend were really hungry and wanted to go to a nice place for lunch
-
The nachos with salsa and guacamole was my instant favourite
-
I also had the Chimichanga which was so filling
-
Their breakfast menu is also extensive
-
Love a good Mexican and Chiquito is quite good
-
Their steak is really good
-
Ordered nachos ofcourse portion is smaller that what I'm used to in Mexican places
-
Salad was limp with disgusting old radicchio
-
Entered quite late when all nearby outlets were not permitting entry
-
The server was polite and hospitable
-
Cantina mushrooms they come in gravy which is similar to red past sauce we didnt like it much
-
Hallumi skewers were good if you are fond of hallumi cheese
-
Good place to visit if you are near to the area
-
Amazing food with friendly ambience
-
Chiquitos offered a bunch of options and were more than willing to customise some of their non veg options and replace the protein with Tofu
-
The ambience is chilled out
-
The garlic tortilla was a much awaited dish and boy it doesn't disappoint
-
The nachos were nice bt missing something
-
Needless to state which is the healthy option
-
I lived in London for 3 years and Chiquito was one of my favorites Mexican restaurants
-
Plus all the staff was amazing and it's a really happy place to have dinner/lunch
