• It's even complete with a radiator which dispenses ale
• Especially since there is a no standing policy
• We kicked off the night with a couple of cocktails
• Wonderfully Infused with a good sweet/sour ratio
• As the drink is all about them
• Peel Detective Agency is the place for you
• It's time to open the bookcase and reveal the wonders of this underground bar/restaurant that is so full of mystery
• A drink in your hand and good company is basically all you need to enjoy this conceptual evening
• Make sure to reserve because spacious is not its middle name
• This coupled with the dim lighting convinces your mind you&rsquo
• The drinks are not traditional
• The added nibbles are definitely wonderful
• Well the portions are quite small for most of the dishes
• Definitely a first class night out with a great group of friends who don&rsquo
• The experience to get into this hidden ultra cool jem is well worth every penny spent on the expensive (but delicious) cocktails
• All you need is a good mystery that you are going to solve there
• First you are questioned by the detective and then you are allowed to go in through the secret doorway
• The atmosphere is perfect too
• The food and drinks however were very mediocre
• Upon arriving you get led down a little staircase where the detective is and he/she questions you about your mystery case
• Their burgers were quite dry and drinks were abit too strong
• The ambience and surroundings were beautifully done though
• Definitely capturing the essence of a 1920s hidden bar with their dim lighting and brickwork
• The concept of Evans & Peel Detective Agency (Earl's Court) is entirely unique
• Means that the bar is nice and intimate
• The first visit here is the most appealing
• Quail cocktail was sooo gooood
• Many folks are dressed like it's in the 20s but it's not a must
• Last weekend I was able to tick one thing off as I went on a bloggers trip to Hadrian's Wall
• Me and 18 other bloggers were invited by Newcastle/Gateshead Tourism and English Heritage to go and visit this piece of Roman history in Britain
• So having a cocktail in a speakeasy cocktail bar like Evans and Peel Detective Agency is the perfect way to spice up your Saturday night
• Course quite expensive but it is part of the package
• They use fake dog feces to joke around with the customers
• All they have for main courses is burgers and when I got there I was told they only had 25 veal burgers and they had already run out
• Their famous Mac and cheese on steroids is really Mac and cheese on life support
• The Mac and cheese was so underwhelming
