Fifth Floor Café Harvey Nichols (Knightsbridge)

• It was a special offer menu with three courses and a cocktail for a fixed £
• We arrived a little early and the table was ready for us
• The menu did not state that the cocktail was a pre determined cocktail as part of the deal
• So I asked and they were happy to substitute a chicken soup with a tomato soup
• The risotto was a little dry
• Overall the mains were uninspiring
• Again the staff were lovely with taking the order
• Unfortunately the cheesecake's base was not that great either
• Very bitty and almost had a stale (it most definitely was not stale) texture
• The service was not where I would expect it to be
• Mistakes with the order and not fully explaining the menus when we were ushered to our seat
• The Fifth Floor Cafe is a little known locale with minimal traffic
• My daughter and I are as close as any mother and her girl can be
• Both my children are now adults
• I ordered the fish n chips and my partner orders a club sandwhich ( Salmon ) both were great without any complains
• The fish was not oily and the batter was perfect the fries is your steak fries ( Chunky Fries )
• The dessert although was a let down I did not like the tiramisu
• This tea is a collaboration between Sarah and Harvey Nichols designed to coincide with the launch of The I Quit Sugar Kids Cookbook and the I Quit Sugar Slow cooker cookbook
• Agave and some of the sugar types I thought were relatively ok together with anything more than a small portion of fruit
