  • The scallops were amazing and the lamb round (lamb 3 ways) is cooked to perfection I wanted more

  • The mash potato is one of the best

  • They explained the items on the menu and as my friend was vegetarian offered to serve her the veggie option instead

  • As with most afternoon teas it came with a selection of sandwiches

  • Onion relish on walnut bread was my favourite

  • The downside was that the bread on the sandwiches had gone slightly hard and by slightly it was very marginal around the sides

  • The scones were soft and crumbly

  • Tasted so good once I smothered it with jam and clotted cream
