  • The Horniman next to Hay's Gallery is a large pub with loads of indoor seating and some by the river

  • Its location on the Southbank path just next to the More London Place development makes it extremely popular with both tourists and the after work pint ers

  • As a drinking pub it scores OK with some good beers on draught and a decent range of wines and spirits

  • Should be a really exciting place to eat is actually very overcrowded at mealtimes and feels a bit like having lunch on station platform

  • Let's cut straight to the chase with this one oh dear

  • The burger meat is salty and just on the right side of incinerated but even in my intoxicated state it makes for grim eating

  • There is a sad portion of coleslaw which remarkably tastes of nothing and the highlight of the meal are the okay chips

  • On the plus side there is a great range of beers otherwise there's not much else to say

  • Well since my friend is foreigner to England

  • Earlier we were gearing up for Italian

  • Ground floor is more buzzy

  • Along with pie we were served with mach potatoes and some veggies

  • I have had better than this but I'm not taking any credit away as it was one of the better ones I had

  • Meal for two with drinks cost us somewhere around 35 pounds

  • Over all a good experience plus my friend was really happy with the food

  • The traditional English pub atmosphere coupled with the outstanding view overlooking the Thames made it done a deal

  • So by then the crowd was already loud and rowdy

  • The outdoor seating area was jam packed

  • Were stuffed with fresh fruit

  • My main issues with this pub were the staff and the volume level

  • I'm pretty sure I was older than this girl

  • The conversation and music seemed in constant competition with one another

  • I had wanted to meet with my friend to catch up

  • The best tables are those laid outside with a beautiful view of London bridge and Thames

  • The staff too are very co operative

  • Their range of beers is almost unending

  • The interior is classy but not stuffy

  • Fish and chips was well cooked and tasty

  • Quite wide choice of beers with some really good crafted ones

  • Great place right at Thames with view of Tower bridge

  • Place was packed with football friends drinking

  • We had the best Mac n Cheese here and my friend had the Vegetarian Sausage and Mash

  • Both of which with a touch of mustard and pepper were really delicious

  • The only gripe I had was that several drinks

  • Were not available and finally had to settle with the one we had

  • It's a nice place to hangout with your friends

  • It's a bar with English starters

  • Once she has served them and as there was nobody else apart from me

  • Finally got served after 25min although there were not many people and I have been standing there

  • It was more busy when they ordered yet they both were served within 5 min

  • Go out often for drinks with colleagues
