One messed up thing is that even though the staff notes down your name
-
Always be in the line of sight of the staff if you are waiting for a table
-
Their seekh kababs and mutton dishes are amazing and much better than the options in chicken
-
The service is pretty quick given the rush at the restaurant good job by the staff
-
Eventually the food was completely worth the wait
-
I enjoy bhindi masala and dal fry the most along with chilli naan
-
The fact that it is a byob restaurant
-
It is even more economical when you hang out with big group of friends
-
My friends and i have always enjoyed eating here and the only request we have is please use less oil
-
My first experience with Indian food and it was amazing
-
The gentleman was extremely courteous
-
All the food is tasty and good quality and generally liked
-
Made very well the lamb is tender and the spices are just right
-
Food was promised in 30 minutes it came after 1 hour 10 minutes with no apology or compensation and it was all soggy and cold
-
Went recently with a group of friends and had the most magnificent meal
-
Started off the with their famous Lamb Chops and Seekh Kebabs and they were finished before you could say Jack Robinson
-
Never heard about it earlier but all I'll say is it was so delicious that I forgot the story about it
-
Though this restaurant was full i did not like Lahore Restaurant (Marylebone) one bit
-
Being an 'indian' i am writing this and believe me when i say this the food was very oily and very average i mean one can find better indian food at the food hall in selfridges top floor
-
The mutton curry that the waiter so suggested was extremely bad and oily i left very hungry
-
The breads were hard and luke warm instead of being hot
-
The location is also not good and the restaurant is not clean at all
-
You will find many indian people here and it will be packed but dont get fooled since the food is very bad and i can guarantee that u will leave dissatisfied
-
Visited Lahore Restaurant (Marylebone) with a group of more than 20 people
-
Lahore Restaurant (Marylebone) doesn't take bookings on phone so you might want to consider someplace else if you are organizing a big group dinner plan
-
Chicken butter masala and lamb chops are highly recommended
-
The service too was quick and prompt
-
The tables are laid very close to each other and it might get uncomfortable for people who prefer privacy
-
Starters it was my first time in London and a couple of friends dragged us along to get a taste of authentic Pakistani cuisine
-
Be rest assured my experience was worth a wonderful memory
-
Its a typically close knit ambience like we have here in India therefore a more spacious seating arrangement is highly recommended
-
Been here a couple of times as this is probably the best pakistani restaurant nearby
-
Quite spicy sometimes but on the other hand this restaurant is one with the concept BYOB that means bring your own bottle that you can buy on a liquor store in front
-
An hour and half later i called back and was told that the delivery guy was on route
-
I waited another half an hour before calling back only to be told that all deliveries were done and they couldn't find my order
-
I reminded them that i had called half an hour prior and was told that the delivery guy was on the way
-
I have eaten there often and do regular deliveries from there and like the food too but thier customer service is non existent
-
Okay naans maybe I was expecting a lot more here
-
Normally my expectations from Pakistani cuisine is quite high
-
The Nalli Nihari was nice though
-
A friend and I decided to give it a try as we were having a strong craving for good Pakistani food
-
Honestly my expectations were quite high so I was quite disappointed
-
The chicken was given generously in the biryani but it was just too spicy too enjoy
-
The Chilli Paneer was bland on the other hand and was nothing too special
-
The one at Savanah Bhavan was much better
-
The lassi wasn't even served cold which is just an amateur mistake
-
I'd say there are better Pakistani restaurants out there and I just hope to find them soon
-
The city in Pakistan was known as the heart of undivided Punjab and that is where the restaurant gets it name from
-
If you are in a group of 6 or more calling ahead is always a smart option
-
I was not very impressed with the starter menu
-
The lamb chops were grilled well
-
Chicken Kebab or the seekh kebab was the highlight for me in the starter menu
-
As the chicken melt in mouth with strong chilli flavours and is much more satisfying
-
Extra points for the yogurt mint chutney it is served with
-
Paneer tikka was cooked in tandoor with onions and green peppers and they were up to the mark
-
The main course is where Lahore Restaurant (Marylebone) excels in
-
Karahi Gosht (Gosht is the term used for lamb or goat meat
-
Lamb in this case) was so succulent and flavourful that we had to order seconds
-
Chicken held its own and was the perfect accompaniment to the lachha prantha&rsquo
-
As both the spinach and paneer were cooked to perfection and of course you cannot miss the flavour of clarified butter in which it seems to have been cooked
-
Mango Lassi was as amazing as you expect it to be
-
While growing up during the excruciatingly hot summer afternoon we all waited for the Kulfi man to come on his cycle with the Kulfi on a stick frozen in his icebox
-
The other deserts they were as expected
-
Very disappointed with the whole overhaul experience
-
It's one of the best places to eat in London
-
Food wasn't bad but what I saw later is waitress handling food with hands that have been touching everywhere and no gloves when handling food
-
Quite concern that they are not taking health and safety precaution as fingers were touching food when the staff bringing food
