Last visit was Feb 13 (been 3 times)
-
Depending on the time of day you visit in the evenings the lighting is Dim and you are entertainment with loud music and belly dancers
-
Levant (Marylebone)s scores high with me on atmosphere and decor
-
The starters are definitely better than the mains
-
The Lamb Dish was a bit bland and the quality of the red meat was not great
-
Levant (Marylebone) also is on Tastecard where i normally get 2 for 1 on food
-
The food itself is kind of pricey
-
The restaurant is fairly dark and lot with big overhanging metal lamps and candle lights very Persian style
-
The highlight of the show is the belly dancers though
-
A stiff vodka with mint and a generous menu
-
Hommus both plain and with lamb plus raisins
-
Baba ghannuge (smoky augbergine dip) and a fabulous courgette dip with lemon and garlic
-
The table groaned again with sauté
-
A surprising highlight was a salad (yes
-
If you're looking to fine dine with your partner or friends then levant may be the right choice for you
-
The interior is amazing and very much appealing
-
This restaurant is very small from the outside which is why it's shocking to see the full size of it once you enter
-
The services and food was something I was highly disappointed with
-
The small portions of grilled chicken wings were in my opinion overly priced and nothing special by taste
-
I didn't have a great experience I would still recommend Levant to you if you're looking for a pretty place to dine as that was the only thing that made me stay
-
If you want to have a romantic dinner date with your partner
-
It is an underground dining place with an authentic Middle Eastern vibe where it has sofas for comfort and belly dancing for entertainment
-
The colour red is reflected through candles and walls
-
The music played by the DJ is a plus to the ambience
-
Mouth watering food with varieties of dishes from the choices of lamb and chicken made with exotic spices and delightfully dressed on golden plates gave a royalty feel
-
The dishes include rice and salad and with great range of starters served with hot pitta bread
-
Food was served hot and promptly and was taken care by great staff
-
It is a bit expensive than regular restaurants but worth the money with the entertainment and services provided
-
You are greeted with potent Arabian incense as you descend down to dramatically done up interiors and you feel as if you have just entered Aladdin&rsquo
-
S world (the one with the Genie and not the Dictator
-
P) The staff is super polite and helps with useful suggestions on what to order
-
I visited Levant (Marylebone) during lunch with a colleague from our London office
-
All of this accompanied with exquisite pitas baked on site
-
Booked a table on the phone and was assured a good table
-
Upon arrival we were welcomed pleasantly but given a table that seemed as normal as they come
-
My girlfriends and I were looking for something near Bond Street and belly dancing so I suggested we head to Levant
-
T sure whether the food was going to be of the same quality as the last review I did was around that time
-
Everyone on the table was full of praises
-
I booked through Twitter so great to see these guys are actively checking their Twitter account and taking booking through that as well
-
When 3 bloggers decided to get together with their other halves for a mammoth triple date
-
Has a bit of a wow factor about iit and is open a Monday night turned out to be an almost impossible challenge
-
We landed upon the seductive and dimly lit Levant in Marylebone and when one of the group started squealing with excitement before we were even seated
-
We knew we were in for a good night
-
You feel like you're right in the middle of an Arabian nights set when you're here with an armatic smell inside
-
Our menu contained both feast menu options and a la carte options but we all went with the feast choices
-
Some of the pricier feast options are to be shared between two and others can be ordered individually
-
The surprise unlimited bubbles they brought our way at no extra cost came as a very nice surprise though with 2 of us not drinking
-
A selection of starters are brought out to share such as mezze
-
Lamb shank and chicken and the meat was tender all round
-
A great place if you're looking for a group dining location with a bit of novelty factor and glamorous interiors that will transport you to foreign land
-
The ambiance was very nice and inviting
-
We went for the lamb shoulders which is quite well prepared
-
They had a flash belly dance performance which was too loud for someone enjoying a peaceful meal
-
I would recommend Levant (Marylebone) for a group of friends and not for a family dinner with kids or someone wanting a quite time
-
A decent Lebanese restaurant with nice ambience
-
We were craving Lebanese food therefore we were in the area and we went there
-
Was around 6.30pm so really early the service was really fast and kind
-
I really advice the Main with hallumi cous cous vegetable and sweet fig
-
Really taste but the portion is really big so if you like to taste even some starter I advice to share the main
-
Humus is delicate with not to much garlic
-
The interior design are pretty good just a bit dark but really typical
-
Is a good place where to have dinner and the atmosphere is nice and clean
-
From the moment of reservation to the end of the night the staff were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with
-
We changed our mind and decided on cous cous instead of the rice for our tagine which was changed without hesitation
-
The belly dancing felt like it went on for longer than the 15 minutes they said which was great and so entertaining
-
We had the late sitting table which meant the music was a bit loud to have a conversation but we knew this in advance and it added to the atmosphere
-
One of the best experiences
-
Their babaganoush is the best I have had so far
-
Andddd the dancers are beautiful and so graceful
-
Great Moroccan decor with options of private enclosures for privacy and live dance on particular days of the week are a must watch
-
Their meat was perfectly seasoned straight out of the grill
-
Their dishes are served with a great portion of arabic rice and salad
-
We enjoyed their hummus and kibbeh for starters as the hummus came with fresh bread
-
The atmosphere is dark and vibrant as there is great entertainment in terms of music and bellydancers
-
The waiters were friendly and catered to your needs
