Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone)

• At the time it was a fancy fine dining restaurant
• The presentation of food is the standard of a one star take away off in southall
• I expected more it maybe be the fact that I was using a tastecard to get 50% off
• I also had the chill lamb stir fry which was over loaded with too much green chiles for it to be enjoyable
• The chicken curry tasted like it was from yesterday's leftovers and just reheated
• At times there were no staff on the floor
• The problem is I went two times and had two different experiences that would be rated vastly different
• Let me begin with the first time
• I ordered a variety of food along with my company
• I even had a drink called Mango lassi which is ridiculously nice
• The food came on time and was throughly delicious
• I feel in love with Indian food and vowed to make this a regular and to visit more Indian restaurants
• Less than a month later I went back there and boy was the experience different
• First the waitress was not friendly or welcoming at all
• An obviously dirty table and one that was clearly not prepared
• You might expect this in your local McDonald's but not in a restaurant that is quite pricy
• When the food came I was let down again
• A bit confusing but I guess Mumtaz is a hit or miss type of restaurant
• The restaurant has been settled from more than 30 years with offering of catering for special ocasions for outdoor and indoor
• Is a chicken with yoghurt mixed with spices as a main meal
• Delicious meal with kind services
• Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) will give you great value for your money and the best part is that the quality and the quantity won't be compromised too
• I have frequented it twice and both time the experience was pretty bad
• The major letdown about Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) is its service
• The seating arrangement is cramped and the staff one of the most rude and unskilled ever
• The food here was rather average and nothing out of the ordinary
• All the orders were quick to arrive to the table
• The beer that was served was warm and after a few complaints the charge was waived off
• Chicken dhansak was sticky and soggy and Jalfrezi was dry as a dessert
• The service was top notch and i would give them one extra brownie point for giving us complimentary round of whiskeys on the house by the end of the evening
• My colleagues were really happy with my choice and we had a great team dinner
• The service was excellent and we were given a round of complimentary whiskeys in the end
• The place serves Indian cuisine and is one of my favorites
• Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in the city
• It is said that the cricket team of India often dines here when they are in the city
• The atmosphere is amazing when the place is full and lively
• The service is really courteous and friendly and the food really is amazing
• Everything is well managed
• This restaurant is a massive one
• Recently went there and it was quite empty at that time
• The atmosphere was dull and boring
• The staff was rude and cold and didn't even have the courtesy to ask if we were enjoying our meal
• The food tasted horrible and the sauce was also quite watery thereby ruining our entire meal
• I visited Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) while I was on a business trip in the city and I must say that the service was very impressive
• Everything on the menu is yummy to the core and I would definitely recommend Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone)
• Cor is top notch and the menu on offer is quite an extensive one
• The thing that stands about Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) is the absolutely grand ambiance
• The interiors are absolutely in tune with the cuisine and in fact very posh and royal
• It goes without saying that the service was incredible

• Went there for a quiet late afternoon lunch with a couple of friend after my visit to Madam Tussaud's
• We searched the place n was good that it was walking distance
• It's again an Indian Mughals joint with most of the staff being from india n Bangladesh
• The taste was really good n all the items were really well done n soft
• Don't remember) was the best along with the tikka
• The service was very good n cost was also very reasonable
• All this made it a very good outing n was easy on the wallet too
• Awesome punjabi food with superb ambience I been to this mumtaz restaurant with my mumtaz
• Mumtaz was surely the best restaurant from my entire trip of UK
• This is the place where you are thrilled with the hospitality in terms of not only food and drinks but also a great service
• The service here is so brilliant that they leave no stone unturned and leave you with a pleasurable experience
• As it was the best Indian restaurant nearby
• You get the royal background view with a rich ambience to sit and dine in
• This was the best Prawn biryani of my life
• Butter Naan was soft and crispy with lot of butter melted on it
• The staffs were very polite and humble
• Full marks to the renovation and full marks to there service along with the delicious food
• The only reason Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) got an average rating from me is because of the amazing service by the courteous servers
• Love that Mumtaz Restaurant (Marylebone) is so close to the station and is open until midnight
• Yellow daal curry was average and I wish I had ordered the okra instead
