Pierino (South Kensington)

• My favourite restaurant if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere
• Only drawback was the straff who I think could've been more warming
• Walking around the delightful pedestrianised area that is gently humming with conversation this cool Sunday evening
• Paired with fresh mushrooms and a heavenly tomato based sauce is so moreish that I'm caught on several occasions scraping forkfuls from the side of the dish
• My risotto is also tasty
• Though the seafood is hit and miss
• Shells only come with food actually in them around 80% of the time and I'd have liked a little more than two of the succulent king prawns provided
• Is perhaps the best I've ever had
• This is the sort of restaurant whose loyal customers are earned by chance
• The waiter was very lovely and very nice
• The waiters are efficient and always pay heed to your needs
• The 'day specials' are something I always look out
• I came across this restaurant coincidentally and was pleasantly surprised

• We had seafood pasta which was both quality and quantity along with a bottle of wine

• Not too expensive which was nice but kind of average for an Italian place
• The carbonara was not very creamy and the baked penne was a little watery
• Nice small place with good Italian food and friendly staff
• The only down was the bruschetta
• We had some pizzas and pastas which were really good
