Pink Turban (Harrow)

• No booking done prior this restaurant was a little busy
• We placed the order and the food was on the table in 15 min
• Starters were good and so is the curry and bread
• Presentation of food was excellent as was the service by staff
• I went for Sunday lunch when the restaurant was completely empty
• Dum biryani was quite authentic and had been cooked in a covered handi (vessel)
• Rara gosht was a bit too rich but delicious
• Decor of the restaurant is modern but not to my taste
• When I looked it up online it looked pretty fancy with really good reviews
• Classy decor with traditional paintings and lamps giving it quite an Indian touch
• Paapri chaat was more of a plate of Dahi Bhalla but oh well
• Pink turban served us the best butter chicken he had tried in London
• The stars of the night were the naan breads though
• Dal Makhani was also pretty good
• It seemed like it was missing something
• I wasn't that happy with the service
• Then also I'm assuming they were out of milk or/and tea and the guy went outside I guess to get it or something was happening which delayed my tea even more
• The lady who took our order didn't know what the dishes were in the menu or what the drinks were and didn't know what to recommend
• Afterwards they tried to cover up and improved and service was pretty nice for the rest of the night
