• Comfortable space with generously sized banquettes
• I associate the food of Rome with offal and there wasn't any on the menu
• By compensation food is very good and comes in big portions
• Its apparently marketed at discerning City boys with hearty appetites
• The light and quaffable red house wine was good value at £
• We started with the bruschetta plate which was generous enough for two to share as a light starter
• Three fist sized rounds of thinly sliced griddled sour dough with different toppings
• The second was excellent quality nduja
• My companion had wild mushroom gnocchi which was a big plateful
• Sauce was creamy but with an intense mushroom flavor
• It has been dressed with a hint of truffle oil
• The texture of the gnocchi was perfectly light and fluffy
• So very little flour was needed to make the gnocchi dough
• Creamy but not overly buttery celeriac puree was a good accompaniment
• The only dish I wouldn't order again here was the side of buttered rainbow carrot with lavender flowers
• We chatted to the manager who said they would actually be soft launching with 50% off food until October 14 2016
• So I would definitely call to check if you can get the soft launch deal if you are going in the near future
• At full price with a bottle of house wine our dinner for two with leftovers would have been £
