Sweet Patisserie & Cafe (Croydon)

• I think i'll stick to my nero/costa/starbucks who are willing to serve even a couple of mins after closing
• I was so excited once this store opened as I thought it was fantastic to have an independent patisserie in Croydon and was fledging to support them 110%
• I went there with my husband for coffee and a slice of cake
• My husband went for a tiramisu type cake which unfortunately was pretty bland too
• I thought I would complain about the cheesecake as it was seriously bad
• It tastes different because it is baked cheesecake
• Not the cheesecake you are used to living England"
• I explained that I was not from England and I was very familiar with how baked cheesecake should taste
• 12 for two coffees and two cakes which I thought was pretty steep too
• Especially when they are so tasteless
• They serve nice coffe and recently also my favourite salmon bagels good place to meet up with friends or grab something for lunch
• We had the black and white cake and the coconut gateaux both were stale and i had a real hard time getting my fork through them
• Apart from that it was like eating cardboard
• The price would've been fine if they were decent cakes
• Pastries are stale and cakes/gateaux are flavourless
• Latte mocha and they were all average
• It seems the coffee beans are over grilled
• Had the vanilla cake with shoe pastry casing as much as I am not a big fan of shoe pastry
• One drawback is that the door was left open at all times
• Brown seats with red shade ceiling lights
• Two Polish ladies were serving customers
