The V&A Cafe -The Victoria & Albert Museum (South Kensington)

• The historical tearoom welcomes museum goers with its high vaulted ceilings
• Food and drinks selection is quite varied
• The main reason for me to come is the afternoon tea
• My personal favourite is the lemon drizzle cake
• Not only if you are visiting the museum
• Albert museum is my favourite amongst all the museums in London
• Anyone who is a serious museum buff
• The garden seating is lovely if the weather is good
• The indoor cafe is brilliantly beautiful
• Don't hesitate to ask if what you are being given is going to cost you extra
• The fresh scones with butter and jam (3.15) were excellent
• 500ml of still water is 1.6pounds
• Free tap water is available between the deli and the hot food section on the right (when you enter)
• The tall cappucino (2.8) was very average again
• The tea was enjoyable and there was plenty of seats in their grand dining hall
• Not your average museum dining experience great artisan food and an amazing atmosphere the eggplantfriday t was amazing as was the pesto pasta salad
• The food is served with a side of two salads
• The museum is free to enter so you can just go for lunch if you're nearby
• Have some nice gluten free options and eating in the court yard during the nice weather was an added pleasure
• The Victoria and Albert Museum have come up with the most civilised way to spend your Sunday afternoon

• Stunning Victorian tea room decor with amazing tiles and fireplaces and statuary
• The museum is free to enter so you can just go in for a meal
