• Watercress and horseradish cream with a small glass of Malbec for £
• It's a pleasant high ceilinged space with low lighting
• We started with a trendy new food of crisp flowering sprouts from the bar snacks section of the menu
• Meat was sliced thin which is a good strategy for serving a cut that is very flavourful but not particularly tender
• Large handcut chips were crunchy on the outside and pillowy inside
• Watercress was naked (no vinaigrette) which I liked
• Horseradish sauce was pleasant if nothing special
• The accompanying malbec was quite soft
• The mushrooms were mostly a mixture of portabello's and oyster mushrooms
• Everything was piping hot
• The wine markup is modest here
