The Bridge Inn (Sale)

• We'd passed The Bridge Inn (Sale) before and as it was a sunny day decided to grab a spot of lunch in the garden besides the canal
• The menu was such a mish mash of different cuisines it was hard to pick something to eat for lunch
• To be honest I think whoever designed the menu is trying a little too hard
• The pork pie was served warm (interesting) and was highly spiced
• The chutney was even more so as it seemed very ginger based
• None if this was mentioned on the menu
• The string fries were nice and crisp and the best thing about our experience along with the service
• The problem was the limited menu and the fact that the food had no identity and was poorly described
• The Bridge Inn (Sale) is trying to be a gastro pub and not succeeding and in our view they might do better simplifying things
• My advice drive past and find a place for lunch where the food is good even if there isn't a canal view
• No rush excellent advice regarding the ribs which were really good
• Other member f team asked us if all ok and was also very friendly
