Swadesh (Deansgate)

• The restaurant waiters are a crazy lot shouting out the orders(supposedly Swadesh (Deansgate) is fine dining
• I thought the place was rather nice
• Pappadums were served along with my appetizer
• My chicken tikka was beautifully cooked
• It was nicely spiced and tasted very well with the chutney
• I was a bit disappointed at the chicken tikka masala because it was not spicy as it was supposed to be
• Coming from the UAE where Indian cuisine is done at its best
• I thought the tikka masala was too washed down of its spices and lacked some fire
• I find Swadesh to have one of the best and most authentic Indian food in Manchester which is a bit rare to find
• Their Dal Makhni is worth a try
• The only problem I faced there were not much staff
• Not many people know it there is a 10% discount for students
• Staff were polite and the food was served pretty quickly
• The Subz Biriyani too was a little oily than expected
• The taste of food was intact though
• Biryani and Dal makhni is worth a try
• The food although is blended as per the British taste
• Ordered the noorjahani biryani which was really good
• Delivery time was impressive and food was satisfyingly warm
• Though cutlery was included in my order
• They're courteous to prepare dishes of my choice even though it was not available in the Menu
