Millefeuille Patisserie (Oxford)

• Millefeuille Patisserie wears what its purpose is on its sleeve promising from the word go delightful homemade sweets
• The lady who was on service at the time I went was really sweet and friendly
• Particularly with my niece there
• The patisserie is off to a good start
• These aesthetics were heavy on the simple eye candy of the food on display plus decorative fruit
• The namesake being a pastry was enough for her to memorise it
• The other coffee was for her husband back at the apartment
• There was a deal for a coffee plus any choice of sweet from the selection that was on display in the cabinet
• The two selected choices were a blueberry custard tart
• The other could be best described as kind of a parfait in a cup
• The coffee made here is not bad at all
• The strength is agreeable and has elements of Italian style espresso while being more akin to French press
• The parfait cup was a mixture of items
• What could best be described as a sponge cake mixture
• With the richness of chocolate counter balanced with the freshness of the strawberries
• Describing and critiquing it is a little tricky
• As what it was is a bit nebulous only having a bit
• This sweet was pretty good and was fully flavourful making it a worthwhile snack for a few pounds
• This little number was sensational
• The taste of butter is overt and makes it the foundation of a great bakery sweet
• You know you are on to something of high quality
• I wish the best of luck to Millefeuille Patisserie (Oxford)
• Whatever other endeavours are planned about it
• This should become another haven for those with a sweet tooth around town
• Particularly when they still want high quality along with their sugar hit
